" The Sidji Hotel is a single becak (pedicab) ride away from famous local restaurants where you can sample unique Pekalongan dishes. The Sidji staff had that relaxed Indonesian graciousness, that makes one feel like a family guest. The menu was simple but stylish, with local dishes of Soto Tauco (soybean paste soup) and Megono (stewed jackfruit and coconut) as good as anywhere in town. "
" We had a pleasant stay for a few days at the hotel. It is located very near by the city center. It only takes about 5 minutes walking to some famous local restaurants and culinary experience. The building is very unique. The rooms were built behind a colonial house belongs to the hotel owner. So you'll get a classic/vintage vibe from the decoration. Breakfast was great, services were awesome. The staff were all really kind, friendly, and helpful. "
" I had an excellent stay at Sidji Hotel over the weekend. It was a good base to explore the batik villages/workshops nearby. The staff at the hotel will have great recommendations. Clean and new hotel (around 2 years old) in the centre of town, but what made the stay excellent was the staff. Special thanks to Mas Oji, Mas Saiful, Mas Abdul, Mas Abdori, Mbak Nada, and Mbak Ria for giving me such a warm welcome to Pekalongan. Will definitely stay here again when I return. Thanks! "
